I searched the forums and came up empty handed. What is a good software to use if I want to make a creative slide show of pictures and incude music? Is there an editing software out there like that? I'm not sure where to start, any help would be much appreciated! :)

I'm also looking for some software to make a slide show. I looked around at the local computer shop and there are a few programs that allow you to include music.

What I want to do is use still images to make a video...like on TV where they pan slowly across a photo or zoom in & out. Any ideas?

For the simple slide show, with transitions, music, sound effects. I recommend Pinnacle Studio. I talked about it in this thread: http://thephotoforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20822
It is really a great program and very very very easy to use but great quality. I don't know if it can do that panning across the photos thing that you want Big Mike.. but I'll have a look into it now. If you want to ask me any questions about it -- fire away!

Big Mike, You've got to do something like this... http://www.abc.net.au/4minutewonders/showcase/freezeflow.htm This film clip is absolutely awesome. I think I actually posted it somewhere on the forum a while ago. But it's great. They 3D-ise photos and well you've gotta watch it. It's great.
