SLRs that shoot video

I don't see them more aggressively restricting P&S cams now, and most of those DO take video. Can't see how they would logically restrict the DSLRs more. In fact, the DSLRs tend to be more restricted now because people look at them as "more serious", not to mention they are far more likely to notice them over a P&S crammed in your pocket.

While this is true P&S cameras are so common they are not even noticed anymore. As where if you break out an slr you get the look. With the video eventually being on most of them, it may just get worse. As it becomes common knowledge.

Everyone thinks that a digi came is rubbish quality = most people have owned on in the past and never got anything good off it so they assume that any reproduction by digicam is not worth protecting against - whilst the opposite (for them) is true of DSLRs - because of course only a pro would ever have one and we all know expert rippers are all pro DSLR users
