SmugMug site performance

Has anyone else noticed that SmugMug has been incredibly slow over the past week or so?

Maybe because many summer weddings are over and there are lots more people downloading and buying off the site?

I dunno, i don't use the site, just a guess

I've noticed some slowness lately too.

They are aware of it and supposedly working on a fix.

Getting annoying, but one or two weeks out of the year for the service I get from them isn't too bad. It's made me think of switching, but I have WAY too many photos there lol.

Wow it's ridiculous right now trying to upload some pictures....

I tried this morning (around 50 photos) and got timeout errors... seems every time it retried it re-uploaded a photo, sometimes 6 or more times.

I haven't had any trouble actually uploading images, but the images are definitely loading slow once on the site. Plus, like I mentioned in the other thread, I'm getting some artifacts in my images lately.
