    I'm not sure of the birds real name but here in Florida we call them snake birds because their neck sticks up out of the water. I caught one drying off and sunning itself.

    The ligting on #1 is better, but I like the pose of #2 better. Conflicted.

    I don't think it's a Loon....we have those on our money..lol.

    I'm pretty sure their necks are shorter...but I could be wrong.

    Google is great. Okay it is an: AMERICAN ANHINGA OR SNAKE-BIRD.

    It swims with its body completely underwater with only its long neck sticking out, hence the name snake-bird.
