I've been enjoying the rain forests here in western Washington. I have a lot of shots that "stop" the water with higher shutter speeds. So...I thought I would "fuzz" the moving water with a slower shutter this time. I rather like the effect, and it seems to simplify the overall balance and structure of the shot.

The neutral density filter added some rather different effects, possibly due to refraction, and I like the effects.

Looking at this photo makes me wonder: is this a huge waterfall in a broad expanse, or is it maybe a tiny stream only, flowing between moss-covered stones? I think it is the latter, but the fact that this photo has me wonder in the first place makes it a good one to me.

Of course I love the smoothness of the water, the simplicity of the colours, and, of course, the colour of the moss!!! How could I (being me) NOT love that!?! ;)
