It was such a dull overcast day that there is virutally no colour in some of the pictures.

Gorgeous shots of a gorgeous area dllb. It is indeed a shame there was more light to help bump the contrast, but I do believe you did a great job finding those hidden treasures and making the most of the day. I especially like the last few of the Chateau, next time I go there, I have determined I must take a picture of that huge chandelier in the lobby :|.
