Squaw Creek usually gets about 300,000+ Snow Geese, and 300+ Eagles as part of the annual flyway migration, but this year bird counts were down due to the midwest drought we;ve had this past year.
Here are two shots... one of the Snows doing a fly-by before landing, and an Eagle at rest. (One of these days, I'll learn to take either my tripod or monopod along but at 74 years of age I try to travel light so I wind up hand-holding long lenses and suffering the consequences...)
