    Going through some old files and found this. It was taken with an old P&S I had. The picture is from the top of Fort Pulaski in Savannah Ga. Decided to try a conversion on it. C&C Please.

    Looks like it has some potential but it seems to be missing something. I am not sure what though, maybe a different angle or composition?

    It lacks contrast, and it's suffering from some serious JPEG compression.

    The contrast thing I understand, but not sure about the the JPEG compression? Could you explain please? I'm still way new at this.:)

    I think it has potential as well. You might try some different crops that feature the canon more prominently; in addition to more contrast.
