Stork in nest with chick

Here's a stork in its nest while I was on a walk in Luna, Romania last week. This was taken after sunset, so I had to spruce it up a little in LR. Not the best picture, but it was my first time seeing one of these bird from close enough to get a shot!

Thanks! I had a pic of the whole pole with the nest on top, but it came out too soft because of the fading light. Going handheld at 300mm with a not-so-fast lens can only go so far...

Part of the joys of being in the Air Force, you get to go places that you don't expect to see... Let's just say this time last year I wasn't expecting to be spending my summer in Romania!
