    Wow, jawdropping shot! The heron is perfectly silhouetted against the beautiful reflection of that vibrant sky.

    Nice shot.

    I've been stalking a blue heron that visits our little pond for the occasional snack for the past 6 months. I can't seem to get anywhere near it.
    Any tips on catching a shot of it?

    Dave,
    I didn't really sneak up on this one. He flew up just in front of me and I started snapping. I was able to get several frames in before he flew off. I was caught with the 17-55 on the camera and was wishing for the 70-200. But, I can't really complain about the results.
