The trees in the first image have quite an interesting shape!

The second image draws me in, though I couldn't tell you why if you asked me.

Tbh, that wasn't in my mind.
I was just trying to get the feeling of these temples where a brightly lit alcove sits facing a dark open space.
I was hoping that I could catch a worshipper seated a good distance away and silhouette them against the lights but the only person there, (it was 4 am) left just as we walked up.

And I liked the reflections in the floor.

I really like the halo (or whatever the equivalent word would be); Is that a tiled mosaic? It looks like lights.
 
The OP is exceptional. Crop the top a little. It's a picture that tells a story of opulence and the rest of the world. Bravo.
