Umm... I don't myself do any work in either colour or digital, but to my eye, the first peice seems...it seems like the article was placed there, like it was picked up off the ground somewhere else and posed, and it looks unnatural.

The second pic is blown right out, and I'm not sure I would have put the sun in the top center.

Also, where is the landscape? It seems too featureless, and bleak.

But like I said, I don't work in colour, nor in digital, so take my opinions for what they are worth.:er:

i love the first picture...edit out the kid in the background

the second picture, the sun is overwhelming. but the beach itself is beautiful!
