The Birds...

I don't know why I didn't post this earlier; the more I look at it, the more I like it! Taken back in February when I was a total noob to photography.
We were driving down Highway Boring and saw a flock of at least 600 birds in a field. It was way OoF when I viewed it on my monitor, but I was able to rescue it thanks to upping the contrast and some B/W. Comments, critique?

Very nice - the contrast and toning is parfect (yes, stating it with an 'a' as opposed to an 'e') for this image.

Have you tried cropping off a chunk of the foreground and making it more like a panorama? Just a thought
