Just thought I would share a picture I did. It is a tree this guy decorates every year with a bunch of lights. This year it had over 76,000 lights. It took him 160 hours to finish. Funny as I think this photo is nothing extroadinary but I have sold 7 prints to date. Not a lot of money but never thought I would sell that many of this print.

Interesting photo. 160 hours and 76K lights? Dang that's a lot of work...

Yep, he adds to it each year also. Pictures do this tree no justice. It is amazing in person.

I thought I did but it must have been a different forum. The first one was not as nice as it was right after he finished and it had a bunch of ladders under the tree.

    Crazy, and very cool.

When I read the topic I was reminded of the Magic Faraway Tree book I loved growing up. :)

How has the thing not caught on fire by now? Haha. Very impressive photo, love the light being cast onto the ground.

Psychedelic Xmas tree :D Must be awfully expensive to have those 76,000 bulbs sucking energy, unless they're LEDs...

Must be something to see ha

He estimates it will cost $200 per month and yes a lot of them are LED's.
