Tips for Indoor, low Lighting Photos. with No Flash ???

I say they look underexposed. What were your settings shooting these? Softness could be down to the depth of field. You'd probably need a much smaller dof to get everything in focus and the only way to do that is get lots more light.

You could not have picked a more expensive hobby if you'd tried. I scare myself when I think how much I've spent - and am still spending......

Were these with the 50mm f1.8?

I edited my post above to add the camera settings.

Those were all with my Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3

Yea, I should have tried a smaller DOF for some, but I like when alot of the object is in focus.

I will be trying the 50mm F1.8 soon also.

When I said smaller dof I meant smaller aperture but f10 and f18 is pretty small.

Sharpness may just be down to the lens. I guess you are using a tripod? Also make sure it's a good tripod as the slightest movement can render the shot blurred.

you will love the 50mm 1.8 - i have it and before it just had the kit lenses... what a difference! Use it sooooo much! I am picking up more new stuff on Friday.. YEAH!!!!! x
