Todays daily photo challenge theme was Time and I really didnt want to be cliche' with a clock. But after much thought, I had to go with my clock. I still had fun though.

well thats kinda hard since I took 4 photos and combined them in photoshop. To make the hands move at a reasonable speed, I tied a thin thread to the minute hand and moved it slowly so they would be picked up by the camera.

Here is the exif data for each of the photos before I photoshopped it.

    Focal length: 38.0mm
    Exposure time: 3.200 s
    Aperture: f/9.0
    ISO equiv.: 100
    Metering Mode: center weight
    Exposure: Manual

Excellent! My "clock" photo I was hoping for similar effect, but I didn't change the ISO from 800 to 100 (whoops) so even with a ND filter and polarizer (don't ask), the max time was 2.5 seconds. Very 'smart' image, and I wouldn't classify it as the cliche clock photo.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments. I was actually surprised at how simple it was to make it work as well as it did.

Great shot. A good amount of clock in it too, I'm sure Hertz would love it!
