Without reading the other comments that are here first, I thought I'd post my un-biased opinion.

The B&W one is better composition for me, as you give the effect of the tractor driving into the frame. However, I really like the color of the dirt on the color one, so that's making me divided between the two.

The B&W photo's composition, done in color, would be spot on!
