I REALLY like this! I think the selective coloring works perfectly and tells the perfect story!

Neat idea, and I think the SC works. The problem I have with it is that the soldiers in the background are in focus, but the grave markers in front of them aren't.

Thanks all. The blur is intentional. I did a motion blur on the grave markers. I thought in focus they pulled too much away from the tree. But still liked it better with the soldiers in focus.

Adding motion blur to things that aren't in motion. Interesting concept. However, I don't think it really works. In fact, I think using a larger f-stop and slighting blurring out everything, but still keeping it identifiable would have been better. The in focus soldier and out of focus crosses is visually confusing.
