Trip to Cologne

Well we finally got our car shipped out here so we drove out to Cologne. The church there is amazing!! Of course the weather was apparently typical German...cloudy and cold. The church was dark as can be so I had to crank the ISO up. Then we went to a Brauhaus and had some wonderful beer :mrgreen:

You did NOT have "beer".
In Cologne, you don't get "beer".
You get "Kölsch". Where you were, you got "Sion Kölsch". The Cologne people are quite particular about this . And the waiter who brings it to your table is no "waiter" as such. He's the "Köbes".

I applaud you on the photos you got from the inside of Kölner Dom (Cologne Cathedral)! I have never ever so far managed to take as good photos in there as you did, and that with our "weather" (which is no real "weather", either, neither in Cologne, nor here: it is a NUISANCE!).

I like the one of Groß St Martin's Church, too! Nicely done night (dusk) photo (dusk is at about 4 in the afternoon ... :roll: )

Nice photos and the first thing i would do when i go to germany would be to get beer.

And when you go to Cologne, make sure to order "Kölsch"!!!
