Unbountiful harvest

    Yep, this lovely beast is the corn that popped up this year. Maybe it was just too hot? At least this one had some kernels!:(

    It seems very blury to me. I know here in South Jersey whole crops of corn have been lost to the drought.

    Sorry about the bluriness. I was sort of going for a soft focus faux glamour effect for my ridilulous corn specimen.:D Yeah I heard about the drought problems. We tried to water enough but it was unseasonably hot this summer- up to 117 degrees. Very unusual for this area!

    I don't agree with the blurriness comment, I think the soft focus effect you were going for worked out great! I think this is a really nice shot.

    great shot... it has a great feel to it, i think you succeeded with the the softness. the tilt throws me off a little bit... but i know it was intentional, probably wouldn't have the same effect if it was straight...
