i'm currently using nikon d60 and planning to upgrade to d80. Is it a good choice? or there's no point on upgrading it?

Normally I'd say no for such a small step, but given the Nikon D60's lack of autofocus motor in the body I would say it's a good idea, especially if you wish to use D series lenses on your camera of which there are many good ones to choose from.

If you have no desire to use these extra lenses then you gain very little, so it all comes down to how much it costs you to upgrade.

I would wait alittle while and save and get a D90. The price will drop in a few months and you may be able to start finding used ones.

I wonder if you will repeat that sentence in a few months. I have a bombshell to drop. It's digital, it won't hold it's value and the price will drop pretty much every few months, especially on the low end which has a faster upgrade cycle.
