    What does the fact that it was shot with a D300 have to do with the image itself?

    Well, I mean, the D300 does create more vivid pictures at default than any other digital I've used...

    But you can do that with post-processing or in-camera customization.

    So, I guess it has nothing to do with the image.

    So, original poster, how do you like your D300?

    You can say the Nikon D300 is totally Different from the other versions.

    Camera catch is batter than D200
    Colours quality is batter than D200 and D2Xs
    there is alot of settings are great with this camera : )

    I'm with JBS, the colors and composition here are really nice, but the first thing I noticed is the tree seeming to be blurry.

    Lovely scene, quite like the light on tree. The blurred tree does not bother me much.
