    Whilst trying to get a good angle on this fellow which wouldn't include peoples heads, hats or other undesireables, he never once looked away from the camera!

    Whether he is particularly photogenic or maybe hungry & fancied his chances I don't know! :lol:

    Very nice DOF ! I took some pics of owls myself but they were in cages so the result is not the same :confused: Is this picture taken in 'the wild' ?

    Unfortunately no!

    It was shackled to a perch (no, not a Perch fish! :lol: ) Which is why I tried not to include his feet in the shot.

    I was nearly sat on the ground to get the right angle over peoples heads since the perch was only 5 feet high.

    His eyes look like deep holes in his head. Disconcerting! Whoa! :shock:
    But very nice.
    The only good bird pics I have ever taken myself were in bird parks (captured surroundings), too. Many of them through the mesh cages they were in.

    Yep, not many reflections or catchlights in an owls eyes! :lol:
