i like the idea but the frog blends into the log to much for my liking

True enough: frog and log look very alike, and interestingly so, they both seem to look "metallic" to me, much rather than like bark and like a frog... I wonder how that could happen?

And I wonder what could be done to this photo as is to decrease this effect of subject blending into background?

I do like the diagonal lines formed by log (one direction) and frog (opposite direction), though!

I think the blend is actually interesting. I first thought that both were completely covered in a layer of mud, i could be wrong.
