That "crappish" point and shoot digital takes nice close-ups and creates an interesting DOF (depth of field) when set to "macro" (and I guess that is what you did for the second photo?) A pity that the tip of the twig pushed itself OUT of the focus again...

By the way, I went into your thread and put a space between your photos, it is always wise to put spaces between them (i.e. at least TWO spaces between the links) so they don't run one picture into the other. I have seen other threads of yours that you created "over night" (my night, that is), where I will do the same.

yes, when in manual setting i have SOME control over that, not as much as i like but a little.
