I've gotten mixed reactions. It actually hangs in my house (husband) but i've had some people really like the 'weird' angle i shot from and some just seem confused by it.

What made you pick that angle?

i don't know that i 'picked' it....i do some funky stuff with my camera sometimes just to see what happens. I think i found it more visually interesting because of the diagonal lines it creates, versus vertical.

Diagonal lines imply motion and speed.

Nope, no speed or motion in this image. That's probably why many people are confused and 'don't get it'.

I personally think this image would be a pretty good portrait if you merely straightened it out, but if YOU prefer this angle, it's hanging in YOUR house so I'd say that's most important.

Titled a camera can add a really fun effect to an image.

However, you need to be careful not too tilt it too much to make the subject appear to be falling off the photo, which is what I get with this one
