Anybody know? It came in a bouquet I bought and it looks like an artichoke..but it's a flower..but it's an artichoke. At any rate, I think it's a really gorgeous bloom. I know. I know. Yet another flower from me. Sorry!

i think it looks more like a cabage then an artichoke. The stem should have the same leaves as the upper part, but they were cut off. So my vote goes to cabage :)

Bedankt, doenoe. I don't know. It has that stem that is rather artichoke-y. It could be cabbage, though. You're right! Here's one more.

It's quite cabbagey. Very pretty, though I'm not fond of the stalk.

Glad to inspire some comedy.

Thanks for sharing on what you think of the images The Empress!

Stella, don't be afraid of the stalk! The stalk is your friend. ;) I thought including it would be important for the overall impression of just what this might be. Still a mystery. I guess I shall call it cabbachoke until further notice.
