To be honest, I find the person in the last one extremely distracting. I think the pictures of area that appear to be nothing but destruction are way more effective.

i like the first one the best! the second one is cool too though, but i prefer color to black and white for this kind of a picture.

Yikes, those views of a 'forest' just make me sad.

In the second one, are the young trees that are depicted what was planted after the logging was finished?

Yeah those skinny tree's are about 20 years old. Most were destroyed in the winters storms. The destruction was amazing but I was nearly dark as I drove through hence so few pics.
