when do you get custom avatar?

As soon as you sign up - click 'User CP' on the top bar and then 'Custom Avatar' on the left hand side =)

i did, and it shows the pic i chose as the "current avatar" but it doesn't show up when i post... hmmm

Hmm, that's odd... one of our helpful moderators will probably be able to assist when they're about though.

Is it within the size and shape restrictions? I think it's 100px and 24kb or something like that. Rob

I think it wasn't within the requirements or you're hitting that reset button when you hit save. Either way, it's not showing up in your panel when I look at it so just try and make sure that it's 100x100 pixels and less than 24kb in size and try again. If you're still having trouble, drop one of the mods or admins a PM and we can walk you through it.
