Who Can See the Demons in This Pic

This photo is an interresting exercise in "Form".
Can anyone tell me why?
It has never been manipulated, retouched, or otherwise edited.
Abstract is it's closest trinsic/intrinsic redeaming value.
HINT: You must really look close to appreciate it--otherwise its just a wasted snap.
HINT #2: There are at least 15 faces of monsters and wolves imbedded in this pic. Can you find them?

There is an optical illusion - I first I thought there was a cavity - then an protrusion .... very cool.

if you were to rotate the pic 90 degrees clockwise, you would recognize a big white wolf's face.

If you view the water line from the left margin, you will recognize several monsters' faces.
