Who has tried a live CD linux?

    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos NOT OK to edit
    I was watching Call for help and Leo was talking about "live CD", guess you download it, install it to a cd, and boot it up and it loads linux as the os and lets you try it out before you install it. But im a bit cautious about websites that I dont know/trust, so I dont want to download something that could harm the site.

    http://www.linuxiso.org/ is the link that I found. I guess SuSe is the most like windows in the user interface and easiest to install or something like that.

    Just wondering if anyone has tried this stuff.

    You should definitely check out KNOPPIX It is by far the best live-cd linux I've seen. I love the latest version. It has all of the most popluar linux software for ya to try out. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions... :D ENJOY
