Who runs TPF?

All valid points, but keep in mind, some people have a workplace where if they're caught or logged as viewing anything naked on their office computer, even if accidentally, they will be fired immediately. That sort of adds to the uptightness. It would be nice if they knew what they were clicking on before it's too late.
Yes, I realize that. And it's those companies (at least the policy makers) that are the ones that need to 'lighten up'.

I don't think it's ever been much of an issue. Most people who post photos with nudity, or even implied nudity, put something in the title. And if they don't, the mods will take care of it. If you (or anyone) sees a thread with nudity by no warning, then just hit the 'report a post' button.

I think it's funny that nobody ever mentions that they might get fired because they spend too much time on internet forums...just that they might get fired if they have some nudity on their screen for half a second.

TPF already has too many sub forums. Next we'll start placing sub-sub-forums
So, the lens-baby get's it's own sub-forum, but nudity can't? niiiiice

If I had it my way, there wouldn't be a lens-baby subforum either. I recall they are supporting this forum so I believe that is driving that decision.

I joined TPF back when it was at its infancy and it had a very simple layout... over time the layout has gotten a bit confusing and over bloated. My opinion is simply hoping that it doesn't get worse.

There has been a decision to try to keep the forum 'clean'. Meaning that we didn't want to have 100 different sections and sub-forums etc. Over time, a few do get added because it seems like a good idea at the time...but eventually it comes to a point where decisions must be made, whether to trim it down and keep it clean, or open it up and add more sections.

This is probably a big part of the reason a NSFW section was not added before...any maybe why it won't get added now.

well...I won't be overly heart-broken if it doesn't get added...just a suggestion since I've been hanging out here more. =)

We do appreciate the feedback, so keep it coming. :D

I"m actually a huge fan of the boudoir photos that are all the rage right now and would love to actually get someone to model for me...and I don't disagree with what you're saying, Mike...it's just that there are some places that it's not appropriate to open some of the threads and since I do most of my browsing while I'm at work, I'd really rather not stumble upon the NSFW photos without warning.

and I was only half joking about the babies and naked women comment...but yeah...some photos are near the line of being considered porn...which I didn't really want to get into that discussion.

:eyebrows:

Exactly. If the company is willing to fire an employee over their internet habits then they are probably more likely to fire you for viewing forums during the work day. ;)

I think it's a good idea! I will make the section now

you're the best! Thanks so much! =)

lol... agreed! when I first joined I was like "what the heck is NSFW?" and then I opened it and oh, its a naked lady... so then I was like "oh, it probably means 'not suitable for wife' or something, lol. then i figured out it meant work... never occured to me that people would actually be on these forums when they are at work... i work for DoD so internet policy is probably a lot more strict than the private sector, but wow...

now...get back to work!! lol! :lmao:

Jacki,
I couldn't figure out what NSFW was either. I think its a good idea also. Thanks for listening 4Nines.
