    2 is my favorite of this set, perfect shutter speed and the composition is appealing with the repeating pattern of water leading me through the photo.

    Nice work.

    I really like #1 also. I have to admit, I messed around with white balancing off of different points in the photo, and I hit one that I really liked, and it totally made the photo. It's amazing how much something so small can affect a photograph.

    #2 is more accurate as far as how it actually looked in person, by the way.

    Thanks! I think I am finally starting to learn how to use this crazy camera contraption. The weirdest part is that these were both taken with the "crappy" kit lens. I guess when you learn a bit, the basic equipment can start working for you instead of against you!
