Um. The highlights are blown, the shadows are too dark, and the distortion is making the composition look tilted to the left.
Not sure what you're going for here. And the title loses me as well.

Thanks for leaving thoughts. The thought process was emphasis on geometry and line. The highlights were blown on purpose, as the shadows were made darker intentionally as well.

I didn't mind if the other technical aspects of the image weren't sound. I was going for suggestive lines vs. Defined. Was also going for a strong tonality to complement the shapes and lines.

Here's an earlier version which is much more "in bounds". To me, it's less visually interesting.

I hate to say it but I like the second image better. I do get an ethereal feel from it, but I like the little bit more detail of the second.

They're quite different photographs.

The first one is a study in geometry and has some minor interest there, and the second one if a pretty banal photograph of some people in.. a mall? hotel? I don't think either one is much of anything, but I think the first has more to like.

The apparent tilt is little iffy in both cases. If it's not tilted, I would experiment with crops, if I was that interested.

I like the second. THe lines and geometry are gorgeous. Makes me tilt my head to the left. Leveling needed.

Same here...even though the higher contrast is interesting, I like the detail preserved on #2. Perhaps somewhere in the middle would incorporate the interesting parts of both. I like all other aspects of the composition....very interesting contribution from that insane ceiling.
