This is my son. He will be 19 in July.

I was looking through my old photos and saw this. Thought it turned out OK.

I could never afford to shoot film so never owned a film camera.
Bought this for $300 in 1999 or 2000.

A POS by today's standards.
Still took pictures though.

Not looking for C&C on a 15 year old shot.
Feel free if you want though.

Ahhhh, yes, the Olympus "Camedia" era!!! Yeah! Oly had a fairly strong presence back in the early days of consumer digital cameras!

I loved that thing. I had no idea what I was doing, but it was a camera.
When it finally died I was heartbroken. Friend's grandson broke it.

I eventually replaced it with a Canon A95 P&S.
My experience with that Canon is why I shoot Nikon today.

Great photo. Great memory. Guessing you gave it a little pp touch up. Amazing how time flies. For the record i couldn't really afford to shoot film either. I just did anyway. I think the lowest i have around here right now is 3 mp.... Amazing what you could do with so little..

My POS is bigger than your POS. This is a 5,1 Mp Camedia monster, cost me a whooping 450 British pounds in 2004. It is still working perfectly and built better than many modern DSLRs:
