I'm not sure on the pose. She looks contorted and uncomfortable. It also creates unflattering creases in her skin and pulls at her boobs oddly. The shine on her face is bit distracting as well. It seems a tad underexposed, too.

I'm a terrible studio photographer, so I may be talking out of turn.

100% agree...she needs a different pose...this one is quit unflattering.

Thank You I agree with your comments unfortunatly she posed herself. I think this pose is alot more flattering.

2nd pose is way better - she looks at least 5 years younger

This second pic is much better from a pose point of view and in terms of composition you have a really strong diagonal line running from the upper left to the lower right.

It still feels a hair underexposed to me and there's still a bit of shine on her face, but overall a much better pic!

Much better than I'd be able to do.
