I had a kid like that. Made them leopard outfits for halloween one year. I was getting ready to put on the "spots" and he begins to explain to me how I need to do it so it doesn't look like a Jaguar instead. Good grief, kid...can't you just be happy being a large spotted cat?!?

Andrew goes to the Smithsonian Air & Space museum on a school trip when he's in second grade. The tour guide asks kids if they know how airplanes fly. Andrew tells her "The air going over the top of the wing goes faster than the air going under the wing. That makes lift and the airplane flies." He used to watch PBS a whole lot when he was little and has a good memory.

Gotta love Google!! And it's not like I'm doing anything ELSE useful right now. Might as well find out what a Euplocephalis is...

My eldest was the same way. He has an eidetic memory, and read voraciously from the time he was about 5. He read the *adult* version of The Way Things Work when he was 7. *I* still don't understand half of what's in that book!
