105mm F2 portrait Lens

Seeing as nikon don't have a DX 105mm and sigma do, would you recommend i purchase the "lesser" sigma or get an 85mm 1.8 nikon lens for use with portraits?

Did you look at the Nikon Tele. AF DC 105mm f2.0 Autofocus Lens ?That would be my pick, nice lens and I have hear nothing but good things about it. LAB

It's a film lens though and the focal length would be increased by 1.5x with a DSLR thus losing the necessary scale for a portrait lens
