10d firmware update?

what is these firmware updates i hear about? I have a 10d, is there any updates for that? if so how do I get them? thank you.

From time to time Canon will fix a bug in their cameras' software which you can update in your camera by using the firmware update (it just replaces the program in the camera).

The current firmware version for the 10D is 2.0.1, if you got your 10D after January 2004 it is probably up to date anyway (you can check on the menu, there's an option to show the firmware version). Here's a link to the canon website where you can download it if you need it.

As the 10D is not obsolete, I very much doubt that any further firmware mods will be released for it.
