Oh man, what fun this party was.

About the worst possible lighting, ran on cam SB-800 with either a diffuser dome or Lumiquest bounce, found the diffuser dome to be more efficient where there was no ceiling :(

Now I see. I thought it might be one of my wife's cousins.

Most of these shot with ISO between 800-1600. The D700 is a real workhorse!

Beautiful girl. Looks more like a wedding to me. The pose with her hand to her face looks forced.

It was very much like a wedding, one can only imagine how extravagant her wedding will be! As far as forced, no. She does love the cam but that was fully candid, I shot 3 frames in quick succession and that one was captured. The event was full of beautiful people, she was the star :)

I'd never been to such an event and I grew up in a pretty affluent neighborhood. It really was hard to not smile, everyone was having so much fun.

It even looks like a wedding dress holy cow lol

My thoughts exactly!

I do these gigs with another TPF member on occasion. He shoots video, I take stills. :)
