1st attempt at product photography C & C PLEASE! Doubled post :/

Got my first external flash today for my d3000. A sunpak 355af for $10 shipped on eBay. Decided to get a piece of poster board and see what can happen. Please be very technical with C&C. Thanks!

These look pretty good. Except in the last one it seems like some ambient light leaked in and caused those yellowish reflections. Quick fix: turn off all light in the room and let your flash do the work. What shutter speed did you use? The longer the shutter speed the more likely ambient light will be visible in your photos.
