Get lower! Numbers 3 and 4 are the best of the bunch. The perspective makes them appear bigger. Keep going that direction with your shooting - tell us the game story from their level. Are those all cropped or full frame?

For number 3, I would recommend cropping or moving the frame further to the left, giving him a better sense of direction. It would work cropped as is if he's looking to the right of frame. I hope that makes sense! The rest of the image is great though. The expression and natural hair-light are great.

My only quibbles with 4 are the horizon and the chopped off limbs. I'd recommend shifting the frame to a horizontal and bring the edges of the frame to just outside their hands so we're nice and tight on the action.

In the future I'd recommend shooting a little looser, which will give you a bit more freedom to nail the composition later on.

I like #4, and I agree, get down and low. Shaolin fighting stance. Funny, I use to coach little league soccer, and I would be the only coach on game day screaming and cursing at my u6 and u8 kids. We never lost.

I like #3. Yes, lower is better. I'll go along with Ronlane - I think the greens are too saturated. The WB looks too cool on some of them..

Crop everything, if you're shooting for a grass company they look great. The content is there, but it is lost in the empty space. Not sure why you went to black and white on the one frame, it simply doesn't work and honestly the image isn't as strong as the others.

You're on the right track with these.

Look at your shadows. They are all coming at you which means you're shooting into the sun. If you can, switch sides and shoot with the sun. And I agree with the above comments.

Shooting at the sun at least helps to ensure that you don't have any sharp shadows on the faces or bodies. I can see why you would have done it.

There is always a decent angle to shoot with the sun. It's just a matter of finding it and then actually being able to stand or kneel there without a parent squalling about it.
