lol That's me messing around...:-P I'll post a bigger version but I don't think it looks as good big. ;)

I need to plant a garden. The farm I go to is too far to go to every day.

Or perhaps hit up the dumpster after closing hours of our local flower shop...lol

When I was first starting out I would go to greenhouses and practice. Now I have a huge garden. I figured out what flowers work best for me and bought all kinds on line. =) I only have to step out my back door for a photo shoot. :D

1 and 6 are the best compositions. The colors are crisp, but there isn't really a "wow factor" that I can find with any of these images. The lighting and a few other things could have been manipulated in post to create such an effect. However, I think with your experience level, you're better off to keep your images post free until you get the composition down.

I know you're using a bridge camera. Although I've never used Fuji FinePix, I know most of the bridge cameras today offer a manual shooting mode. I would get better control of your ISO (the camera programs it for you in these shots) shutter speed, & aperture.

I will say, though. These are much better than the ones when you first joined the forum.

These are just snap shots to me. Which just means that you didn't put a ton of though into how you wanted the shot to look. Think for a moment about what you want out of your flower shots. Do you just want to just document them? Or do you want to create art. After you have figured that out go back and look over the links again.
If you find a shot in the inspiation thread you like a lot, I'll try to help you achieve it.
Keep shooting!!
