1st post- 1 shoot / 2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe

Hey all, First post... first photo shoot with my 2009 Solstice Coupe.


I picked up a canon 5D and now just getting into the photography world.


Looking for a place that will help out with pointer tips and such.


I'm using LR3 to do some picture editing.

I know this one is over processed, but that was the look I was going for.

I'm a noob as well so please take this with a grain of salt. The background doesn't really work for me. I find myself looking more at the surroundings than at your car. Perhaps if you had gone to an empty parking lot where the background was less busy they may have been better.

I agree, I see shots of a somewhat cool, old looking shop with a white car parked out front. I just think the background is too busy. You need something simpler that will help the viewer focus on the car. Other than the background I think they look good. I do kinda like the first one. The car contrasts nicely with the dingy building and the dark sky.

I am also pretty noobish at this, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt as well. I am still trying to fine tune my eyes when it comes to good vs. bad photography.
