1x1 clear.gif in every post

We have a user who is posting a 1x1 clear.gif file in every post. I reported it as spam but it may be more nefarious that that given some of the browser exploits out there these days.

It could just be a way to inflate traffic numbers to a site, but either way its being hidden. A google search finds this happening quite a bit on different forums, with clear.gif being dropped into forum responses and linking from photosnag.com. Sometimes by this same username, and other times by a user named fast1
