Got outside with my son the other day. Tried cloning out the street in the background with LR3 since it's running through his head, but could not for the life of me get it right.

Goal of this practice was finding good lighting in an overcast day.

First one looks fine, with the street that blurred you can get away with it.

Nice shots, what lens did you use?

I know with the 18-55 it is hard to get a nice clean bokeh but with the 50mm you should have better luck.

I like the longer lens for portraits , 75mm and above on crop cameras with a fast 1.4, 1.8 or 2.8 in zooms
