I took this picture earlier this week of a friend's baby. Hoping to hear what you guys think! Totally up for C/C Thanks!

not sure i care for the floating baby in a basket thing, but it looks well lit. I definitely like the concept, just not the floating part.
I think the double watermarks is a bit over the top. the one in the corner is pretty large, and not at all inconspicuous, and the second is straight across the middle of the picture. very distracting. its fine for client proofing i guess, but I doubt you have to worry much about the TPF community stealing your photos.

I think it's adorable! I'm not a fan of the basket floating in thin air.

What if it was cropped so that it didn't look like it was floating, per se? More toward the bottom of the picture?

if you cropped it so the basket appeared to be "on the ground" I think that picture would be fantastic. (assuming you tone down on the watermarks) a big watermark right by the babies head is a bit distracting.

Gotcha with the watermarks...lol. I'm cropping right now, and a move of the watermark too.

No. You'd be getting in too close. You need some dimension down there.

Yeah, I agree MLeek....I think a wooden floor of some sort would have been very nice. Maybe for next time.

I like the new crop much better. the watermark placement is also much better, if you really feel there is an actual need to watermark a photo posted on a forum. i don't think the crop is TOO tight, maybe the basket on a nice rug or something would have looked nice as well.

That's also going to be a problem for printing at anything other than about 5x7.

Selected and moved the baby downwards without cropping the photo. I think I like this the best. No floating baby, and no cropping.
