I like the first one a lot; B&W looks gorgeous, but I'd love to see it in color as well

Well, unlike Wendy, I don't like the first one at all, and find it hard to tell you why. I think it is your point of view ... the lines and how they converge and how they run through the frame just seem boring to me. Plus I miss some more context. I imagine that the same pics taken from three steps back, with more of the hotel front in the frame, would have appealed to me more (though, of course, I don't know what all would then have gotten into your frame that you wanted to keep out by this POV!?!?)

But I like the sharpness, colour and detail of the second.
And I wonder what that is :scratch: !?!?

Now that's c&c that I like hearing. It's hard to improve when their isn't much c&c!
The second is just a wall ornament.
