2 Photos Of Night Shots, Tips Please

First time trying night shots, anything I can improve on?? The first was taken on "M" at 200iso and the second was taken at 400iso on a tripod. Anything I can work on?? Thanks.

what kind of look do you want? more of a night look? that orange light isn't helping at all. try taking in some different colored light, and also turning your lights off, just an idea
if your going for the long exposure, try going for a street or angle where you see more of the traffic, either head on or from the back so you can see more the distance that the light is traveling then just passing you
i'm sure someone can explain this a little better

Sharper angle, use a tripod, change white balance, tighten shot, perhaps shoot somewhere with better light?

Yeah, better light.. I think the orange light is messing it all up.
