2000th pic.....

with my EOS 350d. And man, its one hell of a pic. Hoped it would be a better 2000th pic, but what the heck.

But there are some pics that worked out a bit better with the same dragonfly. Glad it was basking and was just sitting there. Nice opertunity to make some photo's.

this might be a silly question but how do you know how many shutter actuation's you've made?

Nice shots! I remember my first 1k and then 2k shots. I watched for them to come up and then tried to purposely not shoot anything unworthy of milestone type pic! Funny how by the time I reached 10K last month I was paying so little attention to it I actually deleted the file during a chimping/space saving session! Amazing how fast those counts rack up

and by shutter actuations you mean how many pics i took right? well, if thats the case: everytime you take a pic, it gets a filename. So mine are called IMG_2000 for instance for the 2000th pic i took. Or IMG_109 for the 109th pic i took.
hehe And i think i deleted my 1k pic too, never accured to me that it was a milestone
